Batesville Memorial Public Library has
a wide selection of Books, Tapes, DVDs & Cds Newspapers, and Magazines.
Satellite & Videoconferencing, access to Databases, and Art Prints are available
at this location. A special collection features the 352nd FG, Memorial Aviation
Collection, the Miriam Mason Collection, and Oral Histories. Internet connection
is available trough an IEEE 802.11b / 802.11g Wireless Standard network. Video
conferencing equipment is available for use at the library. The equipment also
known as the Polycom VSX 7000 is an IP-based system that allows videoconferencing
via a Web connection. Other programs offered at the Batesville Memorial Public
Library include Programs Story Times, the Summer Reading Program, the Edible
Book Festival, and the One Book One Community program.
Tyson Library is named after Versailles'
native son, businessman and philanthropist James H. Tyson. This Library has
books and videos available to the public. The library's catalog of books, videos
and other materials are available on the internet. The Tyson Library offers
the following computer Training Classes: Computer Basics, E-mail Basics, Searching
the Internet, Intro to Microsoft Word, Intro to Microsoft Excel, and Introduction
to Ebay. Three meeting rooms on the lower level of the library are available
for public use. The small conference room seats 6 people; The Gallery seats
24 people; The Large Activity Room seats 48 people.
